We, the people of Philadelphia,
are entitled to the following fundamental rights which are essential to our City’s prosperity, security, and well-being. It is our elected officials’ responsibility to help secure these rights for us—and the City is not doing its duty. Is anyone even listening to our concerns?
All Philadelphians are entitled to:
Safe streets and neighborhoods free from violence
Protection from dangerous and disruptive vehicular traffic
Timely and effective responses to 911 and 311 calls
Neighborhoods free from litter, overflowing trash cans, and illegal dump sites
Well-lit and well-maintained streets, sidewalks, and public spaces
An environment attractive to new and existing businesses
We demand responsive elected officials who work FOR us, not AGAINST us. That’s why we founded Philly Forward—a citizen-funded and managed political action committee—that will help shape the 2023 elections when we choose our next Mayor and all 17 City Council seats.
